Factors to be taken care, prior to placement of Concrete!

Major factor should be considered when placing the concrete on-site delivered from the batching plant/Mixing plant, Many and varied below:-
  1. Ambient temperature (The Weather During the Casting Time)
  1. Specification for the Mix Design
  1. Sub-grade Condition
  1. Type of Installation (Lean, Structure, Column, Beam, etc.)
  1. Form Securement
  1. Type of reinforcement
  1. Sufficient personnel capable of placing the concrete.
  1. Pouring Rate
  1. Height of Free Fall of Concrete must not be more than 1.2 m.
  1. Avoid Cold Joints
