Checklist for Submittal of Material Approval (SAM)

Documents to be attached/required in submitting a Material Approval request in form of Construction Submittals? Definition: Material submittal is a contractual term often used in construction industry. Bulk materials procurement (Cement, Cable glands, HDPE Pipes, Fasteners..etc.) which are general products in market, available to anyone for buying. Such materials when used in quality construction projects, it is required to submit samples of that product with associated documents - form called - Submittal for Material Approval (SMA) in which you mention the manufacturer name, type of product that is being sourced, any available details to show that the manufacturer is a standard manufacturer, producing quality products. Another variation to the above is ordered material is received at project site, it has to be offered for Client inspector to inspect & provide its acceptance for issuing it to construction team.
